Faces of India

The portraits were made by Dietmar Eckell on several trips to India between 2005 and 2008 in Varanasi, Pushkar and the Kumbh Mela 2007, the world's biggest pilgrimage with 30 million people. The sale of the prints is for charity: 100% of the profits will go to Lift e.V. (www.liftindien.de) a charity that supports Indian girls to visit a school as education is key for a better life. The photographer felt honoured that the locals allowed him to take their picture. So he is happy to give something back to the Indian youth.
Opened daily from 2pm-8pm. The photographer is present to tell the stories behind each portrait. Please wear face protection.

We can not have a classic opening but there will be bar tables outside and drinks available every day.
Please share with friends who might be interested. Now you can own a photograph with a story, support a charity and tax-deduct 80% of it (Spendenquittung 😇).
